A little About Me
My name is Sheila Keegan, and I work as a professional Artist from my home studio in the historic town of Trim, Co. Meath.
Art, and painting in particular, is a vital part of who I am and how I interpret the world. Working primarily with acrylics and oils, I immerse myself in the tactile process of building layers on canvas. I hold a deep, lifelong love of color, using it not merely for decoration, but as a language to convey raw emotion. I am particularly drawn to the dramatic play of strong light and deep shadow, using contrast to create depth.
My work is constantly evolving; I thrive on the endless possibilities for creative growth and expression that come with every new collection I conceive. Rather than sticking to the familiar, I treat each blank canvas as an invitation to experiment, push boundaries, and discover new visual voices. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share the joy of this vibrant, ever-unfolding artistic journey with all of you, and I invite you to step into my world of color and light.
